Video Downloader is a simple Chrome extension that finds videos on websites and lets you download or process them on your device.
What we store
Your settings stay on your device only (theme, format filters, blocked sites, and preferences). If you save items to the library, those links and basic info stay on your device too. Temporary media found in open tabs is kept locally for the extension to work. We do not collect accounts, emails, or browsing history.
Downloads and tools
When you download or use tools (convert, trim, compress, GIF, extract audio), processing happens in your browser. Files go to your computer. We do not upload your videos to our servers.
Casting
Casting uses your browser to send media to a compatible device. It is not recorded or stored by us.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell data, use ads/analytics SDKs, or send your settings, media URLs, or video files to our servers.
